Objective of Skill Development Institute is empowering unemployed and under privileged youth with right skills for Employability and Entrepreneurship. It is assisting in placements and career progression, as well as encouraging start-ups besides providing industry interface for identifying and promoting the right skill sets appropriate to industry.

Our Promoters

The Skill Development Institutes provide a strong framework to create a pool of skilled youth who can be gainfully employed and earn a dignified living with the right skill-sets. SDI-Bhubaneswar is the first Skill academy set up in the Hydrocarbon sector, under the aegis of MoP&NG. It is promoted by eight PSUs in the Oil and Gas sector viz. IOCL, ONGC, GAIL, HPCL, BPCL, OIL, EIL and Balmer Lawrie.
